Byron and the Vielehr Foundation are active with many non-profit initiatives. He has over 30 years of experience in leading significant businesses. 

Currently Byron is the COO of Apollo and is responsible for aligning the strategic business and investment priorities of the firm with our operational capabilities while leading continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of new technologies. Byron joined Apollo in 2022 and serves on Apollo's Management Committee.
